How to Set Custom Usernames and Passwords for Your ZipWP Websites
When you create a new ZipWP site, whether it’s temporary or permanent, the usernames and passwords are typically random strings.
Using random strings for usernames and passwords can be sometimes tricky because they’re harder to type and remember.
But now, you have the option to customize your username and password for your ZipWP websites.
By choosing something unique to you, like a favorite word or phrase, logging in becomes much easier. No need to remember or retrieve random strings of characters.
Here’s how you can make it happen!
- Login to your ZipWP account, then click on the profile icon and select My Account.
- Click on the Edit icon in the Preferences section.
- Here, toggle the Custom Login Credentials button.
- Set a new WordPress username and password here, and ensure that the password is more than 8 characters.
- Click on the Save Changes button once you’re done.
That’s it!
Now, all newly created WordPress websites will use these credentials whenever you log in.
